We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin’s location felt very remote and peaceful. Our kids absolutely loved the pond, and spent most of their time swimming, jumping, and kayaking in it. The pond in itself was worth it. We also enjoyed the board games provided and our time around the fire pit. My only advice to future guests would be to pack extra bath towels and toiletries. Overall, we had a great experience!

Michael place was awesome a perfect place to stay away from the city and surrounded by nature. The river is a walking distance from the cabin, and the canoes’ availability makes the stay more enjoyable. The cabin has everything you need and the communication with the host was very respectful and answered all questions quickly. Definitely, l can’t wait to go back soon!!

We had a fantastic stay at the Black River Getaway! The location is a short drive to the Johnson Shut-ins and to Lesterville floats. The kitchen is well stocked and there are 2 clean, working grills outside. Lucky Lake proved to be quite lucky! Everyone got a chance to catch and release at least one fish. A morning coffee and a short walk up the driveway gave way to exquisite MO views. Best of all, these host were incredible! They were very quick to respond to questions and went WAY out of their way to return merch my daughter left at the rental. We cannot wait to rent this place again for another fun filled MO weekend!
